Alright par...Each year we celebrate St Helena’s Day on the closest weekend to the 21st May – the day St Helena was discovered by João da Nova in 1502.

With the cornavirus this year, we couldn't do our normal celebration in the park, or any celebration involving others.  Therefore, we did an facebook live celebration on Saturday the 23th. We decided to do it online in the hope that it would be a tiny thing we could do to entertain and brighten the day for even just a little bit.we wanna thank you all for watching and joining in with our live St Helena's Day fun yesterday. ❤️🇸🇭We had a fantastic time celebrating with you all. It was the biggest thing we're done so far with Saint Cooks. We were a bit exhausted after 3 hours, but we'll recover with some more cake today. Many thanks to Helen for our amazing Jonathan celebration cake!A special thank you to all our guests who graciously gave up their time to join us live. Thank you to Darrin and Sharon, Johnny, Shelley and Melissa, Colin and Lolly, and Carley for all your help allowing us to talk to Mama Lizzie. We can't thank you all enough!

Other than talking with everyone, we really enjoyed playing the quiz with everyone. Quizzes are always good fun. Thank you all for playing along, and with the giveaways. Maybe we'll do it again sometime. When we started Saint Cooks it was with the aim of sharing Saint food and culture. We hoped to show how amazing our Saint community is. Given the global situation at the moment, we thought doing an online celebration would be a tiny thing we could do to entertain and brighten the day for even just a little bit. We hope that yesterday in a small way we managed to do that, and show how amazing Saints are and why St Helena is so special and loved.Thank you all for watching, commenting, sharing, messaging and joining in with us yesterday. We were so humbled and excited to read and see them all. We're so appreciative of your support. Thank you so much.We love St Helena, and are working on some more exciting things. Look out for them soon.

Thank you for helping us share and spread that love.See you'll later luvie

❤️ Emma-Jane and Robin
